Main Purpose: To lead, develop, and deliver Mytime Active's Food & Beverage (F&B) and Soft Play services, ensuring operational excellence, strong financial performance, and outstanding customer experience.

Key Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of Soft Play and all F&B areas which include the cafes, event/party bookings, children's activities and vending provisions.
- Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are scheduled in line with establishment levels, budgets and in correlation with customer throughput.
- Ensure that all relevant QMS procedures are effectively understood by all team members and evidenced through positive audit outcomes.
- Deliver an effective communication strategy to ensure that all staff across both departments are up to date with current promotions and operational procedures.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff through effective 1-1s.
- Ensure absence (sickness and holidays) and performance issues are recorded via the HR people system.
- Ensure that Employee Engagement initiatives are part of 1-1s with your team members.
- Proactively develop team members for succession planning.
- Maintain staff training compliance at a minimum of 95%.
- Maintain effective control of food and beverage products through proactive checking of stock levels to prevent over ordering and wastage.
- Have overall responsibility for the stock control of food and beverage ensuring that a 65% GP is delivered on a monthly basis through effective stock rotation and minimising wastage.
- Conduct monthly stock takes utilising the Cherry Pi system.
- Investigate any anomalies to stock holding values or variance to a 65% GP.
- Ensure all stock is ordered via Cherry Pi and only utilising approved items.
- Ensure all point of sale stock including vending machines are full.
- Carry out all duties with regard to Health & Safety requirements and regulations according to the Health & Safety Policy, including food safety standards, hygiene, and licensing laws.
- Complete periodic auditing of all food and beverage and Soft Play operations as per the QMS and resolve any audit actions within the agreed timeline.
- Ensure any statutory compliance concerns are escalated to the Centre Manager.
- Introduce and execute new promotions, special events, and seasonal menus to attract customers and boost sales.
- Plan and implement effective quarterly sales plans to achieve income targets.
- Conduct weekly financial performance reviews with the Centre Manager to ensure budget expectations are being met across all responsible areas.
- Take responsibility for the marketing and promotion of Soft Play activities, camps, and parties.
- Attend local events and fairs to raise awareness of the Soft Play services at The Spa.
- Maintain school partnerships to support Activity Camp sales by developing access into schools.
- Monitor and act on customer feedback received via comment cards, or NPS survey results.
- Provide feedback in weekly HOD meetings.
- Maintain a presence on the shop floor in both F&B and Soft Play to ensure a high level of interaction between staff and customers.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of maintenance and cleanliness in all areas.
Role requirements:
- At least two years' experience of working in a similar fast-paced, customer-facing environment with financial budget expectations.
- Previous experience leading/supervising a team.
- Desirable NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in leadership and management.
- Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) Training.
- Food Safety Level 3 certificate.
- 3 day first-aid qualification.
