As our Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our leisure or golf site, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, from customer service to site management. You will be responsible for leading a dedicated team and optimising the operational efficiency of our site through supporting our Duty Managers.

Key Duties:
- Manage the daily operations of the leisure / golf site.
- Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
- Staff management: recruitment, training, development, absence management, staff 1-2-1, competency framework, timesheets.
- Step in to cover Duty Manager shifts as needed to ensure smooth operations and address any staffing shortages, in line with business requirements.
- Manage, develop and co-ordinate staff resources effectively to meet all operational requirements.
- Collaborate with senior management to establish and achieve long-term business goals.
- Build and maintain a sound organisational structure, recruiting, training and motivating staff.
Role requirements:
- Will have a recognised qualification in Leisure Management, Sports Development or a related subject preferably to degree level or NVQ 4.
- A good knowledge of leisure and running/operation of leisure site.
- NPLQ & PPO qualification.
