Location: The Pavilion Leisure Centre, Kentish Way, Bromley BR1 3EF

Job Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week

Key Duties

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times and adhere to My Time's Code of Conduct and standards.
  • Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations when preparing, cooking and delivering food to customers.
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards.
  • Adhere to food and drink labelling guidance and stock rotation guidance.
  • Ensure any vending machines are kept fully stocked and assist with filling the machines.
  • Operate a cash register accurately, ensuring My Time's cash handling and financial procedures are adhered to.
  • Accept any deliveries and store securely, checking items against the delivery note.
  • Ensure that the F&B area is safe, clean and warm before customers enter.
  • Undertake safety inspections and cleaning inspections as required.
  • Undertake cleaning duties, keeping working areas clean and presentable at all times.
  • Supervise the front of house at functions, events and societies.
  • Report any defective services, equipment and facilities to the manager.
  • Help to conserve energy and minimise wastage.
  • Wear correct clean uniform with name badge.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

This role includes lone working (and some team working) and may include key holding responsibilities. Ideally, we would prefer that you have already worked in a busy bar setting but full training can be provided. Our standards must be upheld at all times, maintaining the cleanliness and service level for our customers. The individual would be required to serve alcohol. You should be willing to work evenings, weekends, early start and late finish.
