Key Duties

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times and adhere to My Time's Code of Conduct and standards.
  • Follow Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Regulations when preparing, cooking, and delivering food to customers.
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards.
  • Follow food and drink labelling guidance and stock rotation procedures.
  • Keep vending machines fully stocked and assist with refilling them.
  • Operate a cash register accurately, following My Time's cash handling and financial procedures.
  • Accept deliveries, check items against delivery notes, and store them securely.
  • Ensure the F&B area is safe, clean, and welcoming before customers arrive.
  • Perform safety and cleaning inspections as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of work areas at all times.
  • Supervise front of house during functions, events, and societies.
  • Report any defective services, equipment, or facilities to the manager.
  • Help conserve energy and reduce wastage.
  • Wear a clean uniform with a name badge.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

This role involves lone working, some team working, and may include key holding responsibilities. Preferably, candidates will have experience working in a busy bar setting, but full training will be provided. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service is essential. The role includes serving alcohol.

Flexibility required: early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
