Do you enjoy working with children and delivering great customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment? If so, we’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our team as a Soft Play and Food & Beverage Assistant. This role is key to creating a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all our customers across soft play, café, parties, and events. You’ll be delivering excellent front-of-house service, supporting food and beverage operations, supervising children in the soft play area, and helping to ensure every visit is memorable for our customers.

Key Duties:

  • Greet and serve customers professionally, delivering friendly front-of-house service across café, soft play, parties, and events
  • Assist with preparation, cooking, serving, and presentation of food and beverages
  • Operate booking systems, tills, and card payment transactions
  • Promote food, drink, and activity offers
  • Supervise children in the soft play area to ensure safety and positive behaviour
  • Support the delivery of children’s parties, day camps, and events
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented soft play area and café environment
  • Follow food hygiene, health & safety, safeguarding, and company procedures
  • Complete cleaning, maintenance, opening/closing, and compliance checks
  • Support stock control, deliveries, vending machines, and minimise wastage
  • Work closely with supervisors and managers to deliver high standards across the centre

Role Requirements:

Essential:

  • Previous customer service or catering experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Comfortable working with children and ensuring their safety
  • Food Hygiene Level 2
  • Safeguarding & First Aid qualification

Desirable:

  • Experience in leisure, hospitality, or childcare
  • Ability to stay calm, focused, and patient in a high-energy setting
  • Good numeracy and basic IT skills
