Key Duties:
- Assist Greenkeepers in maintain the tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi rough in line with the course maintenance programme.
- Help set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, indicating areas out of bound, drop zones and hazards.
- Switch and brush the greens.
- Assist in apply top dressing and fertilizer.
- Identify and control pests and diseases.
- Help with the maintenance and upkeep of all centers when required. Renovate worn and damaged turf.
- Assist greenkeepers to prepare and maintain machinery.
Apprentices Eligibility:
- UK/EU Resident for 3 years
- Not currently a student in funded learning
- Hasnt completed a similar qualification at same level or above
- GCSE in Maths and English
- Candidates will need tomeet the eligibility criterion of the apprenticeshipprovider for therelevantcourse.
