We are looking for an Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our team and help maintain our golf course to the highest standards. You will initially work on basic Greenkeeping duties and gradually gain experience with machinery and equipment.
- UK/EU Resident for 3 years
- Not currently a student in funded learning
- Hasn’t completed a similar qualification at the same level or above
- GCSE in Maths and English
- Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the apprenticeship provider for the relevant course.
During the apprenticeship, you will focus on work-based learning, self-study, virtual classrooms, and practice assignments. At the end, you will undertake End Point Assessment to evaluate your skills, knowledge, and behaviour against the apprenticeship standard. You will enroll with an apprenticeship provider.
You will be required to work in all weather conditions, including early mornings.
By the end of the apprenticeship, you will have acquired skills to maintain playing surfaces and work as part of a team. This includes implementing maintenance, care, and the overall appearance of the golf course according to employer and playing standards.
