To support our Menswear Buying team we are searching for a Buyer - Menswear (f/m/d) to be based in our London office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Leading appointments and product edit for selected brands, building commercial yet forward thinking product selections.
- Managing the vendor relationship throughout the season.
- Negotiating best product, trading and payment terms with vendors.
- Planning and execution of seasonal buying strategy, driving sales and margin in line with department targets.
- Monitor deliveries, stock levels and in-season trading to maximize sales opportunities and minimize risk.
- Stay ahead of the mens market, identifying new trends and commercial opportunities for the department.
- Work closely with other teams communicating the buy, product information and strategic highlights to support department and customer needs.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience at Buyer level within Menswear.
- Excellent network within the luxury industry.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills to drive profitability.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
- Open communicator and team player across an international department.
- Strong understanding of the mens market, luxury customer, and anticipating 'what's next'.
