To support our Design team, we are searching for a Designer Womenswear to be based in our London office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Refine existing and develop new blocks in collaboration with the Technical team, defining the fit, shape and aesthetic of the brand.
- Create design packs and support the launch of new collections.
- Source fabrics and trims, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver ranges in line with the critical path.
- Collaborate with the Technical team on fits and product development.
- Work alongside the Creative Director, Buyer and Product team on trend and style analysis to ensure a balanced collection and contribute to range presentations.
- Travel to fabric fairs and factories in the UK and abroad.
- Support the team on a part-time basis (up to 20h / week).
WHO YOU ARE
- Passion for womenswear design, with a strong understanding of the customer and brand.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a luxury womenswear design role with a focus on outerwear.
- Creative and commercially minded designer with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design work.
- Excellent knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction, trims and hardware.
- Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CAD and Excel.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
