Here at Mystery Shoppers Ltd (MSL), we are on a mission to improve customer experiences all over the world. We help our clients to understand what they can do to create lots of happy customers by testing their services.

Now before you get too excited, we don’t just spend our time shopping all day! Here at Mystery Shoppers HQ, we work behind the scenes to arrange for members of the public who have signed up with us as mystery shoppers, to go to our client’s locations (banks, shops etc.) at the right time, and once they’ve spent some time interacting with staff, they fill in their feedback questionnaire. We then read through it to make sure it’s of a good quality, before we submit it to the client and provide them with ways in which they can improve.

We work in all industries, and have carried out all sorts of types of mystery shopping, from the classic burger orders to lengthy mortgage applications. Anywhere a customer experience exists, whether in person, on the phone or online, you will find us providing feedback!

We are a medium sized, family run business and have been going for 30 years! Our HQ is in Holsworthy, Devon.

Alongside our mystery shopping service, we also provide essential auditing to support our clients. We’re looking for an experienced Auditor to travel across the UK, auditing train stations and carriages to provide us with valuable data. This information will help us consolidate our data and ensure we’re delivering the best possible service. This role involves full-time travel, with stations needing audits as far south as Penzance to as far north as Carlisle.

This role would need to be based somewhere in central England with commuting distance to a key train station.

The role involves:

• Conducting on-site audits at train stations across the UK, assessing compliance against established standards.
• Maintaining a flexible travel schedule, with the availability to travel to reach stations nationwide. This may include regular overnight stays.
• Maximising efficiencies to ensure routes are planned to make the most use of each working day.
• Collaborating with administration team on administrative duties where required.
• Previous experience as an auditor is essential.
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage your own workload within set time frames.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate good levels of spelling and grammar.
• Strong IT skills including Word and Excel.

Need to knows:

• The successful candidate will be able to manage their own schedule whilst being required to carry out 37.5 hours of work in a 7 day period (ensuring compliance with working time regulations).
• Salary £30,420.00 pa.
• 28 days’ holiday including 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part time staff)
• Overnight Stays and Travel: Expenses for overnight accommodations and travel will be reimbursed, subject to prior approval.
• Contractual sick pay included.
• 6-month probationary period.
• Subject to satisfactory DBS and ID/credit check.
