We’re looking for a warm, proactive, and hands-on Studio Manager to join us at Myrtle Studios for a temporary full-time role from September 1st to December 31st. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a small, fast-paced team
You’ll be the main point of contact for clients on shoot days, making sure things run smoothly, studio assistants are where they need to be, and clients feel genuinely looked after. It’s a mix of hands-on support, hospitality, logistics, and on-the-ground management – ideal for someone who’s calm under pressure, friendly, and loves being the person who just gets things done .
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming and supporting clients on shoot days
- Setting up studios, keeping spaces tidy and presentable throughout the day
- Directing studio assistants and helping brief them when needed
- Handling hospitality (snacks, coffee, catering arrivals) and making sure client needs are met
- Logging all overtime, catering, and studio consumption in Airtable
- Tracking what’s happening in client threads (you won’t manage emails, but you’ll stay in the loop)
- Keeping shoots running on time and jumping in to help with anything that needs doing
- Liaising with the studio owner throughout the day and flagging any issues
What we’re looking for:
- Friendly, helpful, and great with people
- Calm under pressure and confident on busy shoot days
- Proactive and solutions-focused – spots problems and sorts them
- Happy to get stuck in and handle physical tasks when needed
- Comfortable logging everything accurately and updating Airtable
- Ideally has studio or shoot experience, but we’re open to the right person
- Great energy and confident handling clients in high-pressure creative environments
- Works well independently but is a true team player
- Must be okay with occasional weekend and evening work – this isn’t a standard 9–5
The details:
- Full-time – hours vary week to week, some weeks are intense, others are light
- Temporary contract – Sept 1st to Dec 31st (with the possibility of extension )
- Location: Myrtle Studios, Tottenham
- Pay: Salaried, with overtime for long or busy days
- Team: You’ll be working closely with the studio owner and admin/finance assistant
This is a great fit for someone who loves being on the ground, thrives in organised chaos, and genuinely enjoys supporting people. If you’re a calm, warm, high-functioning human who can roll up your sleeves and take the lead – we’d love to hear from you.
