The Senior Account Manager is responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of key strategic clients, acting as a trusted advisor and senior point of contact. The role goes beyond day-to-day account management, with clear accountability for client strategy, commercial performance, and long-term relationship development.
With a strong commercial and marketing mindset, the Senior Account Manager drives revenue growth by expanding client partnerships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring the company's services and campaigns deliver measurable value. This role works closely within internal Marketing, Strategy, Operations, and Product teams to translate client objectives into actionable plans and high-quality delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead client relationships, acting as a trusted commercial and strategic partner
- Serve as the main point of escalation for complex client issues and critical situations
- Develop and execute account strategies to drive revenue growth, retention, and long-term value
- Identify, propose, and close upsell and expansion opportunities within existing client accounts
- Lead client planning sessions, performance reviews, and strategic discussions
- Translate client objectives and briefs into clear deliverables for internal teams
- Oversee campaign, project, and account performance, providing insights and optimisation recommendations
- Forecast, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, and commercial outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with client goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and account governance standards
Qualifications
- 4–7 years' experience in Account Management, or a senior role within a marketing, digital, media, technology, or professional services environment
- Proven track record of managing and growing strategic client accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with experience driving revenue, retention, and account expansion
- Excellent understanding of marketing performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and client KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders, including executive-level clients
- Confident leading complex negotiations, commercial discussions, and performance reviews
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Korean would be an advantage
- Additional language skills are an advantage, particularly for roles supporting international clients
