Myriad Products is a well -established renewable energy business with over 20 years' experience installing solar PV, biomass and low -carbon heating systems across the UK. Over that time, we've built a substantial installed asset base β€” and our aftersales and service division is growing rapidly as that base matures and customers look for long -term service and maintenance partners.<\/span>

We're now looking for an Aftersales & Service Manager to take ownership of that growth: leading our service team, developing our service contract portfolio, and driving the expansion of our solar PV, battery and heat pump aftermarket alongside our established biomass service business.<\/span>

This is a genuine step -up role. You'll own a P&L, lead a team, and report directly to the Managing Director. If you've been doing parts of this job β€” service, technical sales, contract management, account development β€” but haven't yet had the full remit, this is the role that brings it together.<\/span>

The Role<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>

You will take end -to -end responsibility for Myriad's aftersales and service operation, with accountability for revenue, margin, customer retention and service quality across all technology lines.<\/span>
<\/p>

Your focus will be on growing the business β€” converting our installed solar and renewables asset base into long -term service contracts, driving renewals and upsell activity, and building a scalable aftermarket operation that can grow with the wider business.<\/span>

Day to day, you will:<\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

  • Own the aftersales P&L β€” revenue targets, margin, contract performance and cost control<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Lead and develop a team including a Service Desk Manager, Technical Manager and Service Contracts Sales Executive<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Drive growth of the service contracts portfolio across solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps and biomass<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Build strong relationships with key commercial accounts, conducting structured reviews and identifying new opportunities<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Oversee service delivery, scheduling, field engineer deployment and SLA performance<\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team on commercial strategy and business planning<\/span>

    About You<\/span><\/b>
    <\/span><\/p>

    You are a commercially minded operator who is comfortable in technical environments β€” someone who understands what they're selling, earns credibility with engineers and customers alike, and can hold their own in conversations about systems, performance and fault resolution as readily as contracts, margins and renewals.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p>


    <\/p>

    You will have:<\/span>
    <\/span><\/div>
    • A few years of experience in a service, aftersales, technical sales or contract management role within renewables, engineering services, FM or field service<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • A genuine commercial instinct β€” you understand margin, contracts, retention and growth, not just delivery<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience managing or coordinating teams, subcontractors or field -based operations<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong customer relationship skills and the confidence to manage accounts at a senior level<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li>
    • The ambition and drive to take on a role that is bigger than anything you've done before<\/span>
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      You don't need to have held this exact role before. You do need to be ready for it.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/div>

      Experience in renewable energy or solar is helpful. A desire to work in the sector is essential.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/p>

      You must also:<\/span>
      <\/span><\/p>

      • Be within commutable distance of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire (office -based role with national travel)<\/span>
        <\/span><\/li>
      • Already hold the unrestricted right to work in the UK<\/span>
