An opportunity for a hands-on engineering project manager to grow into a leadership role within a fast-moving, technically strong renewable energy business. Myriad Products is a well-established renewable energy engineering company with over 20 years' experience delivering low-carbon energy systems. As our portfolio grows rapidly — with multiple projects running concurrently across the UK — we need a Project Manager who can hit the ground running and take full ownership of delivery from day one.
The Role
You will take end-to-end responsibility for renewable energy projects from contract award through to completion and client handover, ensuring every project is delivered safely, compliantly and on programme. This is a genuinely hands-on role. At any given time you will be managing several projects simultaneously, working closely with the Operations Director, coordinating subcontractors on site and driving delivery against tight commercial and technical standards. You will need to be organised, decisive and comfortable with pace.
Projects typically include:
- Commercial and industrial solar PV installations
- Large-scale new-build residential solar developments
- Other renewable technologies including biomass and heat pumps
This is a hybrid role based from the Myriad office in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, with flexibility to work from home alongside regular site visits across the UK. You should be within a reasonable commute of the Melton Mowbray office, as you will be expected to be office-based on a regular basis.
About You
You are an engineering project manager — not just a coordinator. You understand how projects are built, you're comfortable on site, and you're used to managing the full delivery lifecycle without being micromanaged.
You will have:
- A relevant engineering degree (essential — this is an engineering business and technical credibility matters)
- Demonstrable experience delivering commercial solar PV projects, ideally at C&I scale
- A track record of managing subcontractors directly — from appointment and programming through to sign-off and quality assurance
- Experience running multiple concurrent projects without dropping the ball
- Strong documentation, safety and compliance discipline (CDM, RAMS, O&M handover packs)
- Confidence managing clients, contractors and project stakeholders throughout delivery
- Experience across other renewable technologies (biomass, heat pumps, BESS) is a bonus.
You must also:
- Already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
- Be within a commutable distance of Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, or willing to relocate
- Be willing to travel to project sites across the UK as required
Why Join Myriad Products
- 20+ years' experience in renewable energy engineering — technically deep and commercially secure
- Fast-growing project portfolio with real variety across solar and other technologies
- A business that moves quickly and gives you genuine ownership of your projects
- A clear path to a leadership role as the delivery team expands
- Direct working relationship with senior leadership from day one
If you are an engineering project manager with commercial solar experience, a hands-on delivery mindset and the ability to keep multiple plates spinning — this is a role worth exploring.
