A senior, hands-on solar electrician role with real responsibility. This is not a repetitive install role. We’re looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Solar PV Electrician to play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installation, service, and maintenance work across our solar portfolio, while taking ownership of on-site standards, quality, and compliance.
The role is field-based and involves travel across England and Wales. Overnight stays will be required at times, depending on project location.

What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out hands-on electrical installation of solar PV systems
- Completing AC electrical works up to LV mains incomers, including distribution, protection, and testing
- Performing planned and reactive service, maintenance, and fault-finding on operational PV systems
- Supporting commissioning, testing, documentation, and handover
- Working alongside subcontract installation teams to maintain safety, quality, and compliance
- Applying practical judgement on technically varied sites with different layouts and constraints
- Completing all required certification, reporting, and documentation accurately and on time
About you:
- An experienced electrician with commercial solar PV installation and/or maintenance experience
- Comfortable carrying out AC electrical works as well as PV-side installation
- Confident with fault-finding and maintaining operational PV systems
- Takes pride in quality, safety, and doing things properly
- Comfortable working on site and collaborating with subcontract teams
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Fully eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions
- Field-based role with travel across England & Wales (overnight stays required at times)
