Myriad Global Media is seeking a proactive and adaptable Communications Coordinator / Junior Communications Manager to support one of our key energy-sector clients on a major international project. You’ll work day to day with the client’s communications and project teams, helping plan and deliver ongoing communications activity - from internal updates and social campaigns to event coverage and milestone storytelling. You’ll also collaborate with Myriad’s in-house creative teams across film, design, and animation to ensure high-quality, on-brand outputs are delivered on time. Our clients include many of the world’s leading energy companies - from oil and gas operators to those driving low-carbon and renewable projects - so you’ll be exposed to communications challenges across some of the most high-profile industrial projects in the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the daily liaison between the client and Myriad, managing requests, updates, and schedules.
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external communication campaigns.
- Draft and edit content such as social posts, newsletters, presentations, and community or press materials.
- Assist in developing communication strategies that turn technical project milestones into clear, engaging stories.
- Coordinate delivery timelines and approvals with Myriad’s film, animation, and design teams.
- Maintain content calendars, reporting trackers, and asset libraries.
- Support on-site activities (filming, photography, events) as required.
- Work closely with Myriad’s Strategic Director where needed, while operating independently to manage day-to-day requirements.
- Ensure all outputs meet Myriad’s quality and brand standards.
Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years’ experience in communications, marketing, or media (agency or in-house).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
- Excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with content production (film, animation, design, or events).
- Confident working both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
- French or Portuguese language skills are a strong advantage.
- Experience working with energy, infrastructure, or industrial clients (including oil and gas) is a plus but not essential.
The Ideal Candidate
You’re a clear communicator who enjoys variety, equally comfortable writing content, planning campaigns, or coordinating creative work. You have strong attention to detail, a calm approach under pressure, and genuine interest in energy and infrastructure communications.

- £35,000 per annum
