About us
We’re an early-stage UK Property Tech startup building software for landlords and property managers. Our product helps property professionals run their portfolios more efficiently by reducing admin, improving tenant communication, and giving owners better visibility over their assets. We’re past the build stage and now focused on growth. You’d be our first dedicated sales hire, working directly with the founder to take the product to market.
The role
This is a founding sales role. This is a zero-to-one sales role: there is no mature pipeline or playbook yet, so you’ll help build both. You’ll own the full sales cycle: identifying prospects, running outreach, qualifying leads, demoing the product, negotiating, and closing. You’ll also help shape how we sell. The right person will treat this less like a typical SDR/AE seat and more like a chance to build a sales function from scratch, with real input into ICP, messaging, pricing, and process. Strong performance here can lead to expanded hours, greater responsibility, and a future commercial leadership role as we grow. Because this is a startup, you’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, doing your own admin, and operating without a marketing engine feeding you leads.
What you’ll do
- Build the outbound pipeline from scratch, including prospect lists, sequences, and cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) targeting UK landlords, lettings agencies, and property management firms.
- Run discovery calls and product demos end-to-end.
- Own deal cycles from first touch through to contract signature and handover to onboarding.
- Set up and maintain the CRM, sales tooling, and reporting (we’ll fund what you need within reason).
- Feed market insight back into product and pricing decisions. You’ll be the founder’s ears on the ground.
- Help define our ICP, refine our pitch, and document the early playbook so we can hire behind you.
- Represent the company at relevant UK property and PropTech events as appropriate.
What we’re looking for
Essential- Solid track record in B2B sales, ideally 4+ years, with demonstrable history of hitting or exceeding quota.
- Experience building pipeline from zero.
- You’ve done genuine outbound, not just inbound qualification.
- Comfortable owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close.
- Self-starter who can work autonomously in a remote, unstructured environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can hold your own with experienced landlords, agency owners, and operations leads.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Background selling into the UK property sector, for example to letting agents, property managers, portfolio landlords, BTR operators, or similar.
- Previous experience in Property Tech or B2B SaaS, especially at an early-stage company.
- Existing relationships or warm network within UK property/lettings.
- Comfortable being technical enough to demo SaaS products credibly.
- Experience with sales tooling such as HubSpot, Apollo, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Previous founding/first-sales-hire experience.
What we offer
- Part-time, flexible working that fits around other commitments.
- Fully remote (UK).
- £15/hour plus uncapped commission on closed deals, including recurring commission on retained revenue.
- Direct line to the founder and real ownership over how we go to market.
- Clear pathway to expand the role (hours, scope, seniority, equity conversation) as revenue grows.
- Genuine ground-floor opportunity at a UK PropTech with a built product and live customers.
A note on stage and budget
We’re being upfront: this is a part-time role at startup budget. If you’re looking for a six-figure OTE and a mature SaaS sales org, this isn’t it. If you’re an experienced seller who wants to build a sales function, has views on how to do it, and likes the idea of being early at a UK PropTech company, with the commission upside and growth path that comes with that, we’d love to talk.
How to apply
Send us a short note explaining:
- Your relevant sales background (industries, deal sizes, quota history).
- A specific example of building pipeline from zero and what you learned.
- Why this role, at this stage.
Please include your CV or LinkedIn profile.
