Job Title:

Claims Specialist, Global Property, Construction & Property Binders

Location: London (Permanent)

Salary: £60,000 – £67,000 + Bonus + benefits

Ideal Candidates

Minimum of 3-4 years\’ experience handling Lloyd\’s global property claims.

Role Contribution

As a Claims Specialist, you will handle complex claims, mentor junior team members, and build relationships with key clients and stakeholders to strengthen our market role.

Key Responsibilities

• Adjust property and construction claims worldwide
• Manage third-party service providers and legal advisors
• Develop relationships with clients and brokers
• Handle Company Market and Lloyd\’s Syndicate claims
• Support junior colleagues with complex cases
• Evaluate coverage and reserves
• Coordinate with underwriters, Risk Management, Actuarial, and Ceded Reinsurance teams
• Record and manage claims files

Qualifications

• Understanding of the London Market and relevant classes of business
• Experience in insurance claims, especially property/construction
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Results-oriented decision-making ability
• Team player mentality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a syndicate, company, or broker within claims
• Knowledge of ECF2 and London market systems like Docosoft
• Degree or diploma (CII or equivalent)
• Interest in property and construction
