We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and highly skilled Paediatric Dentist (Specialist or DWSI) to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician looking to establish their own patient list within a supportive, modern, and prevention-focused environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide a wide range of paediatric dental services for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with additional needs involving both preventive and restorative care. Sedation services are involved in many of these cases and as such experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive assessment and diagnosis
  • Preventive dentistry and oral health education
  • Restorative treatment
  • Management of dental trauma
  • Extractions
  • Behaviour management techniques for anxious children
  • Inhalation sedation (where appropriately qualified)
  • Collaborative treatment planning with referring dentists and healthcare professionals
  • Supporting and contributing to the growth and development of the paediatric service

The Ideal Candidate

  • GDC registration with an active licence to practise
  • Specialist registration in Paediatric Dentistry or recognised experience as a Dentist with Special Interest (DWSI)
  • Excellent communication and behavioural management skills
  • A warm, empathetic approach to treating children and their families
  • A commitment to minimally invasive and preventive dentistry
  • Experience managing anxious and complex paediatric patients
