Base pay range

Senior Underwriter / Underwriting Lead / Specialist / Senior Underwriting / Underwriter / Insurance / GI / General Insurance / Commercial Lines / Property / Casualty / Combined / Residential / Business / Rental / ACII (or working towards or similar) / Financial Services / £40,000 – 70,000 + bonus + benefits.

Location

My client is based in the Channel Islands and happy for you to be based remotely in the UK with occasional travel to Jersey or Guernsey (likely to be once a month fully expensed).

Also open to candidates who would like to relocate to the Channel Islands and benefit from the 20% tax and island life – full housing licence is on offer.

Salary

£40,000 – 70,000 + benefits + bonus.

Responsibilities

The role is a senior underwriting / technical SME and the escalation point for underwriting so will be hands on, with the ability to take the lead.

Experience

• Strong underwriting – experience as an Underwriter / Senior Underwriter or Underwriting Lead
• General Insurance / GI
• Commercial Insurance – ideally experience including Property / Residential / Rental / Business / Combined Insurance / Causality
• Qualifications such as ACII – working towards or a similar qualification
