One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Senior Underwriting / Propositions Manager with experience in Farming or Agriculture underwriting.
Location: remote (may be occasional meeting in Warwickshire / Bristol / Belfast)
Duration: 6 months
Day rate: flexible depending on experience
You will play a key role in shaping my client's underwriting strategy for a defined product range - bringing expert judgement, developing guidance, and translating underwriting appetite into clear, actionable rules and processes. You'll work closely with colleagues across Pricing, Propositions, Sales, Agency, Claims and wider business functions, influencing decision making and ensuring the underwriting practices remain consistent, customer focused, and commercially effective.
Experience:
- Underwriting / Underwriter background
- Specific Farming / Agricultural / Estates insurance / underwriting
- Experience in a strategic product role / Product Manager / Propositions Manager / Propositions Consultant etc.
Desirable:
- Estates experience
- Insurance qualifications such as CII / ACII or similar
- Farming - commercial property, estates, land, farm machinery, pollution liability, agricultural vehicles, livestock, crops etc.
Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
