Job Description
Product Manager / Product Management / IT / Software / Engineering sector (Engineering / Manufacturing / Automotive / Aerospace or similar) – West Midlands – Permanent role.
One of our leading clients is seeking a dynamic and driven Product Manager to join their innovative team. In this hybrid role, you’ll manage and develop software and IT-based solutions tailored to the engineering sector. You'll act as a key bridge between technical teams and customers, shaping product strategy and ensuring successful delivery.
Location – West Midlands with travel to customers in the UK
Permanent role
Salary £50,000 – 60,000 + bonus + car
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the roadmap and lifecycle of software and infrastructure products
- Engage with internal engineering teams and external customers to capture requirements
- Translate technical capabilities into commercial benefits
- Oversee product launches, enhancements, and updates
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Support sales and marketing with product expertise and positioning
- Ensure all solutions meet industry and customer standards
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in a software/IT-focused role
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or similar sectors
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, data, cloud-based systems, or digital platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with product development cycles, from concept to delivery
