Job Description

Product Manager / Product Management / IT / Software / Engineering sector (Engineering / Manufacturing / Automotive / Aerospace or similar) – West Midlands – Permanent role.

One of our leading clients is seeking a dynamic and driven Product Manager to join their innovative team. In this hybrid role, you’ll manage and develop software and IT-based solutions tailored to the engineering sector. You'll act as a key bridge between technical teams and customers, shaping product strategy and ensuring successful delivery.

Location – West Midlands with travel to customers in the UK

Permanent role

Salary £50,000 – 60,000 + bonus + car

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the roadmap and lifecycle of software and infrastructure products
  • Engage with internal engineering teams and external customers to capture requirements
  • Translate technical capabilities into commercial benefits
  • Oversee product launches, enhancements, and updates
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Support sales and marketing with product expertise and positioning
  • Ensure all solutions meet industry and customer standards

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in a software/IT-focused role
  • Background in engineering, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or similar sectors
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure, data, cloud-based systems, or digital platforms
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with product development cycles, from concept to delivery
