We are seeking an experienced Oracle Middleware DBA to support and maintain a critical Oracle-based application environment. This role combines traditional database administration with hands-on management of Oracle Fusion Middleware components.
You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, stability, and security of both the database and middleware stack, supporting business-critical applications built on Oracle technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and support Oracle Database 19c environments (installation, patching, backup, recovery, performance tuning)
- Manage and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server domains and deployments
- Support Oracle Fusion Middleware including Forms, Reports, and Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Configure and maintain Oracle REST Data Services environments
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues across database and middleware layers
- Perform upgrades, patching, and environment migrations
- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to support application delivery
- Ensure security best practices and compliance are maintained
- Strong experience with Oracle Database administration (preferably 19c)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration
- Proven experience supporting Oracle Forms & Reports environments
- Experience with ORDS configuration and support
- Familiarity with SSO and authentication integrations
- Solid troubleshooting skills across database and middleware tiers
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments
- Strong understanding of backup/recovery and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle APEX (if applicable)
- Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python)
- Experience with cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools
