We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to appoint an experienced Data Lead / Data Management Consultant to drive the delivery and adoption of enterprise data management capabilities. This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on implementing data governance, improving data quality, and embedding data standards across the organisation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in how data is managed, controlled, and utilised.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of data governance frameworks, including roles, policies, and standards
- Drive data quality improvement initiatives, including defining rules, monitoring, and remediation processes
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to embed data management practices into day‑to‑day operations
- Develop and support the rollout of data standards, controls, and best practices
- Establish and enhance metadata management, including data lineage and data dictionaries
- Support data modelling activities at a conceptual and logical level
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business units to drive adoption and change
