We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing engineering business seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with experience in the engineering, manufacturing, or aftermarket sector to take ownership of customer relationships, drive business growth, and develop new commercial opportunities across the UK.
The Role
- Managing and growing relationships with existing customers
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the UK
- Building strong partnerships with clients within engineering and manufacturing sectors
- Understanding customer requirements and providing suitable technical/commercial solutions
- Delivering excellent account management and customer service
- Working closely with internal teams to support customer projects and sales activity
- Supporting overall business growth and sales strategy
About You
- Experience within the engineering, manufacturing, or aftermarket sector
- A Mechanical Engineering qualification, degree, or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing commercial roles
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- The ability to manage UK-wide customer accounts and travel when required
