This role is ideal for someone with experience or exposure to2D/3D CAD, Revit or BIMwho enjoys turning customer requirements into practical technical designs while working closely with sales, engineering and customers. This isn't a purely desk-based CAD role. As well as producing drawings and layouts, you'll collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to develop technical solutions, support quotations and estimates, and play an important role in projects from initial enquiry through to completion. About You We're open to graduates as well as candidates with commercial experience. You'll ideally have exposure to some or all of the following: 2D and 3D CAD design. AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Producing or working within BIM models (desirable). Reading and interpreting engineering or construction drawings. Creating technical drawings and documentation. Supporting quotations, estimates or technical proposals. Working alongside sales, estimating or project teams. A Degree, HNC/HND or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Design Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent commercial experience). Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Good communication skills and a collaborative approach. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and a desire to build a long-term career.
