One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Assistant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in maintenance, as well as experienced technicians looking for a varied, field-based role.

The company is flexible on experience. Whether you have around six months' experience in a maintenance role or several years under your belt, they're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Based from Hyde, you'll travel to customer sites across Manchester and the surrounding areas, carrying out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks:

  • Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
  • Basic mechanical and general maintenance tasks
  • Routine inspections and servicing
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records
  • Travelling between customer sites across the local area

Requirements:

  • Some maintenance, facilities, mechanical or handyman experience (around 6 months or more)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Reliable, flexible and willing to travel throughout the Manchester area

This is a permanent position with a salary of £24,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience), overtime available, and a company vehicle/van. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, along with the opportunity to develop your maintenance career within a growing business.
