Castlebridge School, part of the Special Partnership Trust, is seeking a highly organised and proactive School Admin Manager to lead and coordinate the school's administrative functions. This is a key role within the school, providing vital support to the Head/ Leadership team, staff, pupils and families while ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of our administration services.

About the Role

As School Admin Manager, you will oversee the admin team and take responsibility for a wide range of operational functions including HR administration, safeguarding compliance, pupil records, finance administration, and school communications. You will play a central role in ensure that systems and processes are effective, compliant and support the best outcomes for our pupils.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining pupil, staff, attendance, medical and safeguarding records
  • Managing HR administrative, including recruitment, induction, absence management and personnel records
  • Maintaining the Single Central Record and ensuring compliance with safer recruitment requirements
  • Supporting the Head with diary management, correspondence, meetings and confidential administration
  • Managing school communications, calendars and school-wide events
  • Supporting financial administration purchasing, invoicing, expenses and budget monitoring procedures
  • Producing reports, census returns and statutory submissions

About You

  • Has at least two years' experience in an administrative role
  • Has experience of HR processes and maintaining confidential records
  • Possesses excellent communication and ICT skills
  • Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Demonstrate initiative, professionalism and attention to detail
  • Is committed to safeguarding, confidentiality and supporting a high-performance team

Experience working within a school environment, knowledge of educational management systems, payroll experience or a CIPD qualification would be advantageous.
