Castlebridge School, part of the Special Partnership Trust, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Premises Supervisors to oversee the day‑to‑day management of our school site and help ensure an exceptional learning environment for our pupils
About the Role
As Premises Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, security and operational effectiveness of the school. Working closely with Trust colleagues and external contractors, you will coordinate maintenance activities, monitor compliance requirements, support health and safety procedures and help ensure that our buildings and grounds remain safe and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a joint key holder and supporting site security
- Managing routine maintenance and reporting major building defects
- Maintaining health and safety, fire safety and COSHH records
- Supporting site inspections and heath and safety compliance
- Coordinating contractors and service providers
- Monitoring the condition of school grounds and facilities
- Assisting with school events and operational requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has practical experience in building and grounds maintenance
- Understands health and safety responsibilities, including fire safety procedures
- Has strong organisational and administrative skills
- Can word independently and as part of a wider team
- Is reliable, conscientious and committed to high standards
- Has good communication and IT skills
- Is flexible and able to respond to changing operational needs
Qualifications such as a Level 2 NVQ in a recognised trace, GCSEs including English and Maths, Health & Safety training, COSHH awareness, and manual handling training are desirable.
Experience within a school environment would be advantageous.
