The Role
We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team and support pupils in developing their communication and social interaction skills.
The successful candidate will work with pupils in a small group setting, providing targeted support through engaging activities, interventions and play-based sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils to develop their communication and interaction skills.
- Plan and deliver appropriate communication interventions.
- Lead small group play sessions that encourage social communication and positive interaction.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils.
- Adapt activities to meet individual pupils' needs and abilities.
- Monitor pupils' progress and share relevant information with colleagues.
- Liaise with parents and carers where appropriate to support pupils' communication development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to provide consistent support.
Hours
08:30-16:30 Mon -Fri, Term Time Only.
