Thank you for your interest in the post of Class Teacher at our academy. We are looking to appoint a highly knowledgeable, highly skilled class teacher, who has experience of teaching in Key Stage One or Two. Denaby Main is a 3-11 academy and is located in Denaby, South Yorkshire. Our children enjoy coming to school and thrive on the positive relationships that they build with each other and staff.

Overall Purpose of the Role
- To be responsible for the planning, teaching, monitoring, assessing and evaluating high‑quality learning for all pupils.
- Contribute to the collective responsibility for the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of pupils.
- Work within a fully inclusive ethos, ensuring equality of opportunity and high expectations for every learner.
- Be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in teaching, conduct and pupil outcomes.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.

- Act within statutory frameworks including the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and Teachers’ Standards (2012).
