Myn is currently recruiting for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join high-performing Children’s Services teams within a progressive local authority. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an innovative service committed to ensuring children’s voices are heard, delivering strong safeguarding practice, and creating better outcomes for children and families.

The Opportunity:

  • You will manage a complex and varied Children & Families caseload, delivering high-quality statutory social work interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing assessments and statutory reviews
  • Managing safeguarding and care planning processes
  • Preparing welfare reports and attending court where required
  • Working directly with children and families to achieve positive change
  • Building effective multi-agency partnerships
  • Promoting the voice of children in all decision-making
  • Delivering creative and outcome-focused intervention

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, Degree in Social Work or equivalent)
  • Completed ASYE
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Post-qualified UK statutory children’s social work experience
  • Strong safeguarding, assessment and care planning knowledge
  • Excellent communication and partnership working skills
  • A resilient, compassionate and child-centred approach
