Our client, renowned for redefining what’s possible in the built environment for 40 years, is looking for an experienced and skilled Service Engineer with a passion for smart technology, problem solving, and customer success.

As a Service Engineer you will operate in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment, thrive on solving problems, work independently, and deliver best‑in‑class service to high‑profile customers.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Proven experience of servicing security systems (CCTV, access control) and IT/network infrastructure with a background in smart buildings or BMS environments
  • A strong networking knowledge (IP systems, diagnostics, remote troubleshooting tools) with a technical, fault‑finding mindset
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Any security system or networking certification (NSI, SSAIB, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, etc.) is desirable
  • Any ITIL or similar service management experience is desirable

You will:

  • Deliver reactive and planned maintenance across CCTV, access control, and network systems, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues within the client’s SLA
  • Collaborate with client security and IT teams to ensure seamless building operations
  • Work with third‑party vendors to troubleshoot and replace faulty hardware
  • Maintain accurate service records and reports
  • Participate in an on‑call rota for out‑of‑hours support, travelling to sites across London, the Southeast, and occasionally wider UK sites
