What You’ll Do

  • Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with the service level agreement between ourselves and our customers.
  • Produce concise reports from PPM visits to be submitted promptly in line with KPI’s from our customers.
  • Keep various schedules and trackers of maintenance works up to date for visibility of both BMSI and our customers.
  • Carry out small repairs & remedial works.
  • Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure.
  • Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You should be familiar with Trend & IQ Vision.
  • Experience with any of the following systems would also be advantageous: Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure, ALC.
  • You must have experience of working within the building controls industry, as well as an understanding of mechanical plant.
  • Time spent working within data centre environments would be looked on favourably.
  • You will have proven diagnostic skills and be able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Be located within the North East.
  • Possess a full UK driving licence.
  • Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent.
  • Be PC literate.
  • You will also be required to be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis.
