Role – Senior Solicitor (Family Law)

Location – Windsor & Maidenhead

Salary - £50K - £65K

Type - Permanent

A progressive legal firm with a well-established presence across the South of England, with offices based in London, Maidenhead, Watford and several in the Southern Counties. They are currently conducting a confidential search for a Senior Solicitor (Family Law) to support and work alongside the Senior Partner, with a view to take over as head of the department. Due to recent acquisitions of other smaller law firms, they have created this great opportunity for a self-motivated, commercially driven professional that will inherit a portfolio worth in the net region of £100k worth of clients. This opportunity is quite unique as they will inherit a great portfolio of existing clients, with all the support in new business delivery, and a path to becoming part of the senior leadership team. The successful candidate will take on a leading role in the delivery of high-quality legal advice.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a private law caseload that includes divorce/civil partnership dissolution, finance and children matters.
  • Deliver practical, clear and empathetic advice to clients.
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships, ensuring the highest standards of service.
  • Contribute to the wider team’s success, whether through mentoring, business development, or leadership at senior levels.
  • Support training and development where required.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years PQE in family law; Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) - newly qualified through to Partner level.
  • Proven experience in family law, or strong training seat experience if recently qualified.
  • Excellent communication skills and genuine client care.
  • Ambitious, collaborative, and committed to delivering exceptional results.
