We are actively seeking experienced General Practitioners with a special interest in Women's Health to join leading healthcare providers, primary care organisations, and specialist Women's Health clinics across the United Kingdom.

This opportunity is ideal for GPs who have developed significant expertise in Women's Health, Menopause Care, Sexual & Reproductive Health, and Primary Care Gynaecology.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are passionate about improving health outcomes for women and providing specialist care within community and primary care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality primary care services with a specialist focus on Women's Health.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of women's health conditions.
  • Provide specialist menopause consultations, including HRT initiation, review, and complex menopause management.
  • Deliver contraception services, including counselling, prescribing, and ongoing management.
  • Perform or support procedures such as coil (IUD/IUS) fitting, contraceptive implant insertion and removal, where qualified.
  • Manage sexual and reproductive health conditions within primary care and specialist clinic settings.
  • Provide referrals and collaborative care with secondary care and specialist gynaecology services where appropriate.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with GMC and NHS standards.
  • Support health promotion, preventative medicine, and patient education initiatives related to Women's Health.

Requirements

  • Essential
  • MRCGP qualification.
  • CCT in General Practice.
  • Inclusion on the GMC GP Register.
  • Current UK General Practice experience.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient-centred care.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical leadership skills.
  • Desirable Women's Health Experience & Qualifications

We are particularly interested in GPs with substantial experience and/or qualifications in one or more of the following areas:

  • Menopause, perimenopause, and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
  • Women's Health or dedicated menopause clinics.
  • Contraception services.
  • Sexual and Reproductive Health.
  • Primary Care Gynaecology.
  • Complex menopause management and specialist referrals.
  • Coil (IUD/IUS) fitting and contraceptive implant services.
  • Previous Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience.
  • Additional Qualifications Considered Advantageous
  • British Menopause Society (BMS) Training or Advanced Certificate.
  • DFSRH (Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare).
  • DRCOG (Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists).
  • FSRH qualifications.
  • Lo C IUT (Letter of Competence in Intrauterine Techniques).
  • Lo C SDI (Letter of Competence in Sub-Dermal Implants).
  • Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare qualifications or substantial clinical experience.
