Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join a specialist healthcare communications agency working across pharmaceutical, biotech and patient advocacy campaigns. This role is ideal for someone early in their PR career who is passionate about healthcare, patient outcomes, and strategic communications. You will support the delivery of integrated communications programmes across multiple therapeutic areas, working closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality campaigns for global healthcare clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of healthcare PR and patient advocacy campaigns across multiple client accounts
- Assist in the development of press materials, campaign content, and stakeholder communications
- Monitor media coverage and compile daily/weekly coverage reports and insights summaries
- Conduct background research on therapeutic areas, patient journeys, and healthcare policy landscapes
- Support the execution of disease awareness and education campaigns
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and advisory boards (virtual and in-person)
- Liaise with internal teams including digital, creative, and public affairs specialists
- Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables under supervision
- Build relationships with journalists, patient organisations, and healthcare stakeholders (as appropriate)
- Ensure all outputs comply with regulatory and ethical standards in healthcare communications
About You
- 0–1+ years’ experience in PR, communications, healthcare, or agency environments (internships considered)
- Strong interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or patient advocacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with scientific or medical content (training provided)
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
