What You’ll Do
- Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with the service level agreement between ourselves and our customers.
- Produce concise reports from PPM visits to be submitted promptly in line with KPI’s from our customers.
- Keep various schedules and trackers of maintenance works up to date for visibility of both BMSI and our customers.
- Carry out small repairs & remedial works.
- Provide routine inspections of BMS equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure.
- Document service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.
The Ideal Candidate
- You should be familiar with Trend & IQ Vision.
- Experience with any of the following systems would also be advantageous: Tridium, Schneider EcoStruxure, ALC.
- You must have experience of working within the building controls industry, as well as have an understanding of mechanical plant.
- Time spent working within data centre environments would be looked on favourably.
- You will have proven diagnostic skills and be able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Be located within the North East.
- Possess a full UK driving licence.
- Hold a CSCS skill card or equivalent.
- Be PC literate.
- You will also be required to be on call for emergency or breakdown purposes, on a rota basis.
