The Role

MYN NHS Client is seeking a dedicated UK and relevant experienced Paediatric Doctor to join our collaborative and forward thinking department.

Key Details Information

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Middle Grade Doctor to join our friendly NHS hospital team at Hereford.

This is a full time (12 sessions/PAs) hospital based post on the senior resident doctor Rota (tier 2/middle grade) to fill one of our specialty doctor posts.

The current rota consists of 1 Paediatric deanery ST trainee and 5 specialty doctor posts.

This will be expanding to 1 Paediatric deanery ST trainee and 7 specialty doctor posts.

  • We are looking for a Doctor with a minimum of 9+ months UK NHS experience.
  • Contract: Fixed term: 18 months, Full time (12 sessions/week)

Duties

  • Acute Paediatrics & neonatal ward work
  • Outpatient clinics & Paediatric Assessment Unit
  • Supervision & teaching of resident doctors
  • Mix of day shifts, long days, and night shifts

Essential Requirements

  • Qualifications MBCh B or equivalent; Full GMC registration with Licence to Practise
  • Training APLS/EPLS & NLS (or equivalents); Level 3 Safeguarding
  • Experience 12+ months NHS experience; 4+ years postgraduate training; 6+ months Level 3 NICU
  • Skills Broad paediatric experience; Team player; Audit/Quality Improvement participation
