We’re working with a growing, international business that is investing heavily in its core systems as part of a broader transformation programme. With continued expansion across multiple regions, there is a need to strengthen internal capability across ERP and CRM platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem.
As a result, they are looking to hire a Dynamics 365 Developer to play a key role in developing, enhancing and supporting their global ERP platform, alongside wider CRM and Power Platform initiatives.
The Role
This is a hands-on development role focused on building and extending ERP solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, with additional involvement across CRM and the wider Power Platform stack. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions, supporting both ongoing system improvements and longer-term transformation initiatives. The role sits within a central function with exposure across multiple business units and systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop customisations and extensions within a Dynamics 365 ERP environment using AL
- Support enhancements across the wider Dynamics 365 ecosystem including Sales and Customer Service
- Build and extend solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Develop and maintain integrations across internal and external systems using APIs
- Contribute to system design, development standards and code quality through reviews and best practice
- Support testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation of system changes
- Document technical solutions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned to business needs
Requirements
- Strong experience developing within Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP environments (including Business Central)
- Proven experience with AL development, including customisations and extensions
- Experience working across the wider Dynamics 365 ecosystem (CRM modules desirable)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Solid understanding of integrations using APIs (REST, JSON, XML)
- Strong SQL knowledge and ability to work with data effectively
- Experience working in a multi-system, integrated environment
Desirable
- Experience with EDI or B2B integrations
- Exposure to multi-entity or international system environments
- Experience contributing to system roadmaps or governance structures
- Background in a technology, SaaS or distribution-led business
