We are looking for a passionate and skilled Nuclear Medicine Radiographer to join a forward thinking and patient centred team. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality diagnostic imaging services. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills across a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures in a well equipped and supportive department.
Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine duties, including radionuclide imaging, organ uptake measurements, and quantitative analysis of imaging data.
Prepare imaging data for clinical reporting and ensure all clinical data is securely archived according to departmental protocols.
Strictly adhere to all Radiation Protection rules, including IR(ME)R 2018 NI, Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017, and Local Rules.
Provide guidance, support, and clinical supervision to junior staff, assistant practitioners, and student radiographers, contributing to a positive learning environment.
Commit to your own continuing professional development (CPD) through post registration courses and in service education.
Participate fully in the departmental rota, including extended working days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and the emergency out of hours service (including at short notice).
Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all Trust policies, including Health & Safety, COSHH, Infection Prevention and Control, and the HCPC Code of Professional Conduct.
Essential Qualifications: HCPC/CORU Registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer. A recognised qualification in Nuclear Medicine (Desirable).
