About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Podiatrist to join our team in Bangor, Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to deliver high-quality foot and lower-limb care to a diverse patient base and work across clinic-based appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of foot and lower-limb conditions
  • Provide routine podiatry care including nail surgery, biomechanical assessments, and wound management
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment and care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with clinical governance standards
  • Liaise with GPs, consultants, and other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Provide patient education on foot health and preventative care
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and health & safety regulations

Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in Ireland (mandatory β€” please confirm your eligibility to work in Ireland when applying)
  • Full, clean driving licence (mandatory β€” some travel to patients/clinics required)
  • Recognised qualification in Podiatry/Chiropody (BSc or equivalent)
  • Registration with CORU (Podiatrists Registration Board) or eligibility for same
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a clinical or community podiatry setting
  • Experience with biomechanics, sports injuries, or diabetic foot care
