MYM Recruitment are recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter at their Coleraine depot on a full-time permanent basis. A company van is also included with the role.

Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment, including conveyors, pumps, crushers, screens, and hydraulics.

Fault Finding & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime and ensure optimal plant performance.

Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to company safety policies, risk assessments, and safe working procedures, ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant health and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.

Fabrication & Welding: Carry out basic fabrication and welding work as required.

Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, electricians, and external contractors to ensure seamless plant operations.

Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar maintenance role within a quarry, sand plant, heavy industry, or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. Welding and fabrication skills.
