MYM Recruitment are excited to be working with our Draperstown client who are one of the longest established private trading groups in Northern Ireland and has developed a strong reputation as one of the leading land, property, construction and manufacturing specialists. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to recruit an Administrator to join their HQ in Draperstown. The suitable candidate will be responsible for: Procurement Contacting various suppliers to obtain prices for goods Negotiating competitive prices Ordering goods Timely update of cost price list for all purchases Comparing delivery docket with purchase order and invoice Ensuring price on invoice matches purchase order Contacting suppliers regarding quantity and pricing discrepancies Timely update of cost price list for all purchases Timely approval of purchase invoices on accounting system to meet credit terms Sales Pricing sales dockets for creating sales invoice Processing sales invoice on accounting system Processing customer receipts on accounting system Telephone duties and maintaining a high level of service for customers. Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Builders Merchants administration Respond to and follow up enquiries using appropriate methods Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements Any other work deemed important to or allocated by the Shop/Yard Manager Any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role. Essential Criteria: Good educational attainment including min GCSE/equivalent Mathematics & English. At least 2 years employment in office environment. Excellent customer service and team mindset Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills Competent on Microsoft packages including excel Excellent reporting skills Excellent ability to manage deadlines. Desirable: Experience gained in purchasing or procurement Experience in sales invoice processing Experience using Accounting software Skills: Procurement Sales Invoicing
