Job Role: A&E Locum

Specialty: General Medicine

Grade: SHO

  • 4 outpatient clinics with associated administrative work
  • Outpatient chemotherapy prescribing
  • Laboratory work, providing specialist advice within the Trust and to GPs
  • Attendance at the weekly Haematology MDT meeting

Work will be undertaken across sites in Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 6 months Healthcare experience
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Register with GMC
  • References covering last 3 years of clinical employment
  • Up to date CV
  • Undertaking patient consultations and physical examinations
  • Organising workloads
  • Performing surgical procedures
  • Providing general pre- and post-operative care
  • Monitoring and administering medication
  • Assessing and planning treatment requirements
  • Writing reports and maintaining records
  • Managing a department
  • Leading a medical team
  • Keeping GPs informed about the care of their patients
