Job Role: Charge Nurse

Band: 5 – 6

Working Hours: Shifts will vary depending on the rota.

Duration: Extensions available 3 monthly.

Responsibilities:

  • Shift co-ordination and allocation
  • Medication (JAC trained)
  • Risk assessment
  • Care planning
  • Report writing
  • Attendance at MDT meetings

Skills:

  • Experience of CAMHS inpatient setting preferred
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of shift co-ordination
  • For band 6 staff, should have enough experience to be the senior nurse on duty

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • 6 months Healthcare experience
  • Right to work in the UK
  • References covering last 3 years of clinical employment
  • NMC Registration
  • Overseas Police Check, if any
  • Indemnity Insurance
  • Up to date CV
