We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Ward Manager to lead our dynamic CAMHS and Acute in Chelmsford. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver high-quality care in a newly established, purpose-built facility designed specifically for those who need the support and care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care.
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ward, including staffing, resource management, and the supervision of care planning for those who need it.
- Mentoring and supporting staff, maintaining quality standards in line with regulatory requirements, and fostering collaboration with consultants, therapists, and external agencies.
- You will also lead service improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, staff development, and overall ward performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a Ward Manager (CAMHS and Acute).
- Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
- Have an updated CV of your work experience and skills.
