We are looking for Senior & Junior Healthcare Recruitment Consultants to join our Doctors Division. Mylocum is a leading healthcare recruitment solutions provider delivering a blend of temporary, contract, and permanent placements for Doctors across the UK. We work with our clients and candidates to ensure we always provide a high-quality service. As a part of our business expansion strategy, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding Doctors division who will be responsible for overseeing and executing operational and strategic functions for the recruitment and placement of doctors.
Main Responsibilities & KPIs
- Identify client needs and match candidates to existing vacancies while understanding and anticipating customers’ requirements.
- Create, develop and maintain good working relationships with candidates through resourcing activities (e.g., advertising, social media, referrals, etc.).
- Work with the Marketing team to post adverts on current vacancies.
- Maintain effective communication with locums and work alongside the resourcing and compliance team to retrieve documents, and assist in getting candidates compliant and prepared to be placed.
- Business /Client development activities: Build relationships with new clients, arrange client visits, and develop existing relationships through the identification of key clients and contracting partners.
- Ensure all compliant and available candidates are booked on a regular basis.
- Provide clients with continued post-placement support – in line with Company policy, to obtain feedback on completed or ongoing jobs, including, but not limited to check-in calls, locum assessment assignments forms, and rebook calls – ensure that candidates are present for assigned jobs.
- Update all communications with candidates and clients on the CRM system, and all necessary housekeeping (e.g. update changes in contact number, address, time away from work, etc.).
Essential Required Experience
- Must have recruitment experience within the healthcare sector however a senior level in other sectors will be considered.
- Experience in working to timescales and sales targets.
- Ability to use and display initiative.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Eclipse.
