MyLife Homecare Edinburgh is recruiting for Domiciliary Care vacancies across Edinburgh. The MyLife Edinburgh team offer private home-care services in Edinburgh. We are a friendly and caring team, dedicated in providing high-quality support to our service users. We believe it’s important to ensure all carers are happy and satisfied in their role, from feeling confident, being able to talk to management whenever they need to, as well as receiving a competitive rate of pay and recognition. As a Care Assistant, you will provide individualised packages of care to support and enable people to maintain their independence and enjoyment of being in their own home. The care we deliver varies depending on individual need, but is always expected be of the highest standard. What we are looking for
Due to popular demand, we are recruiting for Community Care Assistants to work in Edinburgh to cover shifts throughout the day. Please note, we do ask for availability on alternate weekends.
- Kind, caring and compassionate people.
- Good level of English.
- For drivers: Have the use of their own transport during working hours car/motorcycle etc.
- Experienced & non-experienced carers – everyone is welcome as we provide full training!
Responsibilities
- As a Community Care Assistant, your tasks will include: Assisting our clients in all aspects of their daily life, i.e. meal preparation, medication prompts and general domestic support.
- Assisting clients with personal care.
- Supporting clients to take an active role in the planning and provision of their care.
- Recording and reporting daily visit information.
