Backend Engineer in London

We 10x\’d our revenue in 2025.You can read more about the company mission & values here.Role Description As our first engineering hire entirely focused on our internal go-to-market and operations stack, you\’ll have the unique opportunity to:Design and build a start-up\’s tech stack to be AI-first from the ground up; contribute to infra decisions, direction and prioritization

Ship internal tools quickly and get immediate feedback from your colleagues (they will quickly become your biggest fans!)

Develop and own our data warehouse and internal data architecture

Work on groundbreaking projects involving LLMs, agents and automation

Shape our engineering culture

Sample set of projects User Health Reporting + CRM Data Quality : automate data pipelines to feed metrics into BI dashboards / ML evals (e.g. usage, demos, feedback) and build alert systems to flag risk signals (e.g. usage drop, feedback spike). Ensure we have accurate usage and profile data across our customers.

User Feedback —> Product Development pipeline: build a tool that takes summaries of feedback calls with users, evaluates priority feedback items / feature requests and then shares them with our Product team.

Billing / Invoicing : implement complicated B2B pricing models, involving combination of usage-based, seat-based and platform fees in a single invoice. Automate as much of the financial reconciliation and reporting process as possible!

Building data warehouse and reporting → build data warehouse to integrate our product database, crm data and operations / finance data → generate team-specific dashboards from data

About You We\’re looking for a back-end / data engineers who like building internal tools and helping their commercial team colleagues work 10x faster:Based in London, in our Farringdon office 5 days / week

Have experience leading projects end-to-end and are self-directed, comfortable reporting into several senior stakeholders

Have strong communication skills, with experience translating \’laymen speak\’ into technical requirements

Has interest and/or experience in our commercial tech stack : Notion, Slack, Retool, Amplitude, StripeSales, Finance, Ops, Customer Success will be relying on you to make them more efficient / AI-enabled

Proficient in PostgreSQL and one or more of the data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Firebolt, etc.)Experience with our product stack (Node.js & Typescript) preferred

Feel like you are never building fast enough. You have start-up experience and thrive in fast-paced, chaotic environments
